To ensure a safe environment for all of our patients, doctors, staff and visitors are routinely being screened on arrival for symptoms, recent overseas travel or close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 to identify anyone who may be at risk of having COVID-19.
Anyone determined to be at risk of having COVID-19 from our screening processes will be instructed to perform hand hygiene and asked to leave the practice and seek advice from their GP or call healthdirect on 1800 022 222.
Our clinical staff are trained in infection prevention and control procedures and are being continuously updated on measures to manage the risk of COVID-19 the pandemic.

On Monday 23rd August, several private hospital providers with acute facilities such as ICU units have been required to reduce operations, allowing for deployment of staff to support in the NSW Health response to COVID-19; such support includes staffing COVID-19 vaccination hubs.
Our team continues to serve our community, with our operating facilities East Sydney Private Hospital and Central Sydney Private Hospital continuing with operations, as usual, not being affected by the reduction in operations.
During this time, your eye health must remain a priority; our practice is now offering telehealth appointments and strict COVID-19 protocols in practice to protect our patients, staff and doctors during face to face consultations.
